Rare and Classy Grey Diamond Stunner
Like white diamonds, grey diamonds come in a variety of shades and clarity ranges. Many grey diamonds have "cloud inclusions" which can give them a cloudy look. Not in this case!
Set in a thrilling, sparkle-studded design is one of the most clear and brilliant natural grey diamonds I have seen. It sparkles in rainbows of purple, pink, green, blue and yellow brilliance. See the video here:
The setting was not made by Anueva, it is a ring that was made a few years ago and is now released from the vault of one of my favorite fancy colored diamond suppliers and is on the market for a permanent home. This is a weighty, high quality ring. The 18k white gold setting was handcrafted with delicate milgrain accents that accentuate vintage-inspired scrolls in the gallery and double rows of skillfully set diamond halos.
The 2.8mm wide shank is set with seven round brilliant cut diamonds on either side of the head in a half-eternity style, leaving the underside a simple plain shank.
Bezel set in the center of the approx. 17x15mm halo setting is the natural 2.18ct oval diamond, which measured 9.71ct x 7.23 x 4.56mm before it was set. A UGS appraisal report gradesthe stone as having good polish, very good symmetry, faint fluorescence,a fancy intense grey color with SI1 clarity. As you can see in the video link above, the diamond is very much eye-clean.
The 70 round brilliant cut natural accent diamonds are F-G color, VS2-SI2 clarity and 0.82ctw, bringing the total weight of the stones in the ring to 3ctw. The ring itself weighs 8.17g.
With an independentappraisal value of $41,575, this ring is a unique, worthwhile addition to any fine jewelry collection, or to be used as an engagement ring.
It is currently a size6.5 and can be resized with limitations by us or by your local jeweler. Once the ring is resized, however, it is non-refundable.
Making a Difference:
Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
