Art Deco Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. Circa 1920's.

18 carat yellow gold marked 18. Claw set withan oval cut vibrant yellow sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of twelve old cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring have scrolled, carved decoration.

Total diamond content measures approximately .80 carat. Diamonds G Colour, VS/SI Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately 1.5 carats. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set.

Pierced out gallery. Plain band shank.

To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

The head of the ring measures approximately 12 mmacross.

This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
